Bathtub Laundry vs. Book-Reading Neighbour: The Show(er)down

Everyone has "dirty laundry" (pun intended), especially in government housing, but there's the proper way of cleaning it... then there's the way only those in housing would...

I was sitting on my balcony one evening, enjoying a cigarette and my tunes with headphones (I have respect, unlike some). A neighbour who lived beside me came out onto his balcony with a soaking wet blanket. I asked him, politely, "What are you doing?" His response was that he was washing his blankets in his bathtub but didn't have 2 fucking dollars to wash it in the laundry machine. However, this neighbour would have lots to spend on his addiction - go figure.

I left him to do his thing. A moment later, the neighbour below him came out with his book. He sits down, and notices drops of water landing on him and his book. Looking up, he sees the utter stupidity and inconsideration. "Ahhh... what the fuck?!" he exclaims.

The neighbour comes back out, and mutters, "Oh, I forgot to ring it out." he fucking wrings it out all over the neighbour below!

Neighbour below: "You fucking cocksucking bastard!"
Neighbour upstairs: "I didn't have any loonies!"
Neighbour below: "Well, then take one less fucking drink next time!"

Everything calms down for a bit. A few minutes later, neighbour upstairs grabs more laundry to hang over; more soaking wet blankets. The neighbour below's dog starts barking at the noise the drunk neighbour is making on the railing.

Neighbour below comes back out, and grabs his manual rototiller and tries to knock the blankets down. Him and I are not really too pissed at this point, we're just getting a kick out of an opportunity for entertainment.

The drunk neighbour asks me if I can call the police. His phone wasn't working that day. I said, "Fuck that! This is entertainment." He actually clasped his hands together and begged me. I just laughed. He says, "Well, fuck you too." ... I laughed even harder. 😂😆

He went to a neighbour and used their phone to call the police.

They never showed up. They, too, thought how fucking petty and a waste of time it would be.
